Due to technical changes made recently by Freeview, some of our customers (and our competitors customers), are experiencing problems with their boxes. We are so sorry about this and have been working around the clock to provide the right solution.
We've set out below 7 simple steps to ensure your box is working correctly:
- Once you have installed your DTR (please follow the instructions in the user manual), leave your DTR in standby (a solid red light will be visible on the front panel of your DTR).
- During the next 90 minutes (but usually within 15 minutes), a second green light will come on.
- Please do not do anything until the second green light goes out (this takes approximately 5-10 minutes).
- Once the second green light has gone off, if the box hasn't turned itself on, please press the on/off button to take it out of standby.
- Within a few seconds, the DTR should automatically load all of the new features and channels (you will see an orange light and flashing green light during this process). This will take around 60 seconds.
- All you now need to do is a channel scan. You do this by using your remote control and pressing 'Menu', then 'Set-Up' (4) then 'Scan for Channels' (1).
- Once the scan is complete, press 'Guide' to check your channels are back. Your DTR should now have all the latest features and channels ready for you to enjoy.
