Following the successful launch of Sky Sports on Freeview in 2010, Top Up TV is very pleased to announce the next phase for their service, with the launch of the 'Top Up TV CAM' in time for the new football season.
Viewers with compatible Freeview TV's can now get Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 2 and ESPN, all without the need for a set top box, dish or cable. There's no need for extra remote controls, scart leads or power leads,
as all of the channels are available via a small unit that slots straight into the TV.
'Customer research tells us that Freeview customers love the idea of being able to receive Sky Sports and ESPN without the need to sign a lengthy contract' said Nick Markham, CEO of Top Up TV
'but they do not always want the clutter of additional hardware. We are very pleased to be able to offer this brand new solution that makes things simple for our customers'.
From August 2011, any customer with a recent Freeview TV just needs to call Top Up TV to order a 'Top Up TV CAM'. This credit card sized device fits discreetly into the side of the TV, no cables, no wires,
no complicated engineer installation… And best of all, the CAM will be available from Top Up TV completely free of charge.
