Upgrading and New subscribers

  • I wish to add a channel to my current package.
    Existing Top Up TV subscribers can easily add additional channels to their viewing pack. Choose one of the following options:

    - Sign in to your My Account area on the Top Up TV website, and add the additional channels; or
    - Call Customer Services, and we will get it set up for you asap.

  • How do I get Sky Sports?

    I am an existing TV Favourites and/or Picture Box subscriber. How do I add Sky Sports to my service?

    Existing Top Up TV subscribers can easily add additional Sky Sports channels to their viewing pack. Choose one of the following options:

    - Sign in to your My Account area on the Top Up TV website, and add the additional channels; or
    - Call Customer Services, and we will get it set up for you asap.

    I am not a current Top Up TV customer. How do I get Sky Sports?

    If you would like to access one of our great value Sky Sports viewing packs, you have two options:

    - Go to the Top Up TV website and select the Sky Sports page. Select the viewing pack you want to access and click on the green Buy Now » button. Follow the steps carefully.

    Buying online is the quickest and easiest way to purchase your new viewing pack. However, if you would prefer to speak to an advisor, please use the option below.

    - Telephone our New Customer team at 08712 714 272. The advisor will guide you through all the various viewing packages available, and help you to decide which one is best for you.

    To receive this service, you will need either a Set Top Box (STB) which is Top Up TV compatible, or a CI+ Conditional Access Module (CI+ CAM) and CI+ compatible television, Our advisors will ask which type of equipment you have at home now. They will then be able to advise you if your current hardware can broadcast Top Up TV programmes. If you do not have compatible hardware, we may be able to offer you a low cost, high quality hardware solution, so that you can begin enjoying our content.

    Some of our viewing pack options come with a Free Set Top Box. Ask the advisor how you can qualify for this offer.
  • How do I get ESPN?

    I am an existing TV Favourites and/or Picture Box subscriber. How do I add ESPN to my service?

    TV Favourites (TVF) is an on demand download service, where we send programmes automatically to your Digital Television Recorder (DTR) or Personal Video Recorder (PVR) to be stored and watched at your leisure.

    If you are a current Picture Box subscriber, you can add TVF to your service with one of the following options:

    - Sign in to your My Account area on the Top Up TV website, and add the additional channels; or
    - Call Customer Services, and we will get it set up for you asap.

    If you need help setting up your 'My Account' registration, please go to How to set up 'My Account'

    If you are a current subscriber to one of our sports packs, we will need to check which equipment you are using, before we can tell you if we can add TVF to your service. To receive TVF you must have a Top Up TV compatible DTR or PVR. This equipment contains a hard drive which allows you to record and store programmes.

    You will not be able to access the TVF service without this equipment. Currently, we do not have any DTRs in stock.

    I am not a current Top Up TV customer. How do I get TV Favourites?

  • Can I watch GOLD on Top Up TV?
    Yes.

    The G.O.L.D. service is available to current Top Up TV subscribers only.

    Existing Top Up TV subscribers can easily add additional channels to their viewing pack. Choose one of the following options:

    - Call Customer Services, and we will get it set up for you asap.

How to buy Top Up TV

  • What Top Up TV services can I get in my area?
    Before purchasing your Top Up TV service, please make sure you are located within a Digital Terrestrial Television reception area.

    You can check your postcode by visiting www.digitaluk.co.uk.

    Once you have confirmed you can receive our services, you can purchase online or by calling one of our helpful Customer Services advisors.
  • Is it safe to order online at Top Up TV?
    Yes.

    We use state of the art 256 bit encryption, which means your information is completely secure. Nobody can access your payment details.

    You can make your online purchase with total confidence.
  • How do I order online?
    Browse the website and choose your favoured viewing package.

    Click on the green Buy Now » button, and you will be taken to our secure shopping basket. Depending on the viewing pack you select, you may be asked if you are a new or existing Top Up TV customer. Please click on the appropriate link and follow the steps to decide which equipment you need.

    Add your desired viewing pack to the basket.

    You will need to provide your name, contact details, address and bank account information. Please have this information to hand.

    Once you have supplied the details, click on the 'Continue to checkout' button. At this point, we will ask you if you already have compatible equipment to watch Top Up TV.

    Please select the option which applies to you.

    If you wish to purchase a sports pack (ESPN, Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 2) we can provide you with the necessary equipment, if you do not already have it at home.

    However, if you wish to purchase TV Favourites or Picture Box, please be aware we do not currently stock the DTR (Digital Television Recorder) needed to receive the service. Because of this, unfortunately we are unable to sell either TV Favourites or Picture Box to anyone who does not already have the necessary hardware.
  • How do I order on the telephone?
    You can telephone our New Customer team at 08712 714 272.

    The advisor will guide you through all the various viewing packages available, and help you to decide which one is best for you.

    While you are on the phone, we will ask for your name, contact details, address and bank account information. Please have this to hand.

    We will need to check which Top Up TV viewing pack you wish to access. We will also need to know if you have Top Up TV compatible hardware already at home.

    If you are purchasing one of our sports packs (ESPN, Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 2) we can provide you with the necessary equipment, if you do not already have it at home.

    However, if you wish to purchase TV Favourites or Picture Box, please be aware we do not currently stock the DTR (Digital Television Recorder) needed to receive the service. Because of this, unfortunately we are unable to sell either TV Favourites or Picture Box to anyone who does not already have the necessary hardware.
  • Do I have to sign a contract?
    No.

    You can access every one of our viewing packs without having to sign an annual contract.

    We do not require you to sign an annual contract, and we will not enforce a rolling twelve month contract.*

    All our services can be purchased on a month by month basis. At any time, you need only give us 30 days notice to discontinue.

    *Top Up TV does offer some exceptional added value viewing packs which do require an annual contract. Normally, these offers include a high quality Set Top Box which you receive free of charge when you sign an annual contract.

  • The Multi Pack discount explained
    We like to reward our customers with additional price reductions, beyond our already low prices, when you pick two or more Top Up TV channels.

    We call this the Multi Pack Discount.

    Every time you add an additional channel to your package we will provide this multi channel pack to you at a cost far below its normal standalone price.

    For example, if you select Sky Sports 1 as a standalone product, the monthly cost is £25.99.

    If you add Sky Sports 2 to your viewing pack, which also has a standalone monthly cost of £25.99, we do not ask you to pay full price on each channel, Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 2, which would cost £51.98 per month.

    We will only charge you £34.99 per month, a huge 32% discount, which works out to an annual saving of £203.88.

    The viewing pack of Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 2, ESPN, TV Favourites and Picture Box has a standalone monthly cost of £84.96. We provide all of these amazing channels for only £56.99 per month. This works out to a massive annual saving of £335.64.

    So, when you subscribe to Top Up TV, the more channels you add, the more money you save per channel.

Set Up queries

  • When is my equipment likely to be delivered?
    Your new Top Up TV box or CI+ CAM will usually be despatched 1-2 working days after the order is received. It will then usually arrive within 2-3 working days.

    If you have not received your equipment 7 days after you ordered it, please give Customer Services a call.

    How will my Top Up TV box be delivered?

    We use the courier company DPD for all our deliveries.

    Your Top Up TV box will be delivered by DPD, to the delivery address that you provided.

    Will DPD, require a signature upon delivery?

    Yes, someone will need to sign to take delivery of your new Top Up TV equipment.

    What happens if there is no-one at the address when DPD arrive?

    DPD will attempt delivery. If they are not successful, they will leave a notification card. After 2 further unsuccessful attempts your Set Top Box will be returned to Top Up TV.

    Can I track my delivery online?

    Yes, give Customer Services a call and we will give you the delivery tracking number.

    How will my CI+ CAM be delivered?

    Your CI+ CAM will be dispatched via Royal Mail.
  • Set up your new Top Up TV service

    From inserting your Top Up TV Card, to choosing your Channels, or setting the Child Control function, you will find detailed instructions to ensure you get the most from your Top Up TV service.

My Account and moving home

  • My Account
    If you are an existing TopUp TV subscriber, you can access a range of useful self-service features by visiting www.topuptv.com.

    To access these features, you will first need to create an account. To do this, please complete the following steps:

    Select My Account, or go to the navigation bar, top of page right hand side and click on the My Account link.

    A Log In box will appear. Click on the link, bottom left hand side, which says 'Create an account'.

    To complete your registration, you will need your Viewing Card number (VCN), which is printed on your Top Up TV viewing card. The number starts with '118.'

    You will also need your Conditional Access number (CAN). This can be found on the underside of your Top Up TV box (DTR), or on your CI+ CAM.

    Once you are logged in, select the green 'Edit' button next to 'Personal Details'. You can now amend your personal information including address details and contact preferences. Don't forget to click 'Save changes' before logging out.

    If you have changed your bank account, you can ensure your payment details are up to date by going to the 'Payment Details' area within My Account.

    One very useful feature in My Account is that you can add new viewing packs, or re-enable an existing channel, without having to call Top Up TV. Simply go to the 'Viewing Packs' area, and select the packs you want. Please check to make sure your payment details are up to date. Now you're all set to start watching your new viewing packs!

  • Moving Home
    You can amend your personal details, including your address, using the My Account area on our website.

    If you have not yet created an account, please go to How to set up 'My Account'

    Once you are logged in, select the green 'Edit' button next to 'Personal Details'. You can now amend your personal details including your contact preferences. Don't forget to click 'Save changes' before logging out.
